After the delivery of 50 Chemical Injection Skids DGI Wilmax has been awarded a follow up order for two more skids. The client, a Dubai based EPC contractor, was impressed by the work DGI Wilmax performed and therefore increased the contract with two more skids. This last batch of in total 52 Chemical Injection Skids will be shipped in November. All skids will be integrated in the third phase of the North East Bab (NEB) field.
Excellent engineering capabilities
The original contract for 50 Chemical Injection Skids was awarded mid 2015 and included Corrosion Inhibitor Dosing package-clusters, Methanol Injection packages, Biocide Injection packages and Wax Inhibitor Injection packages. DGI Wilmax showed excellent engineering capabilities and teamwork and delivered all skids within time and budget. This resulted in an additional order from Dodsal for two skids bringing the total to 52.
North East Bab
The North East Bab field covers 1400 square kilometres and is located 31 kilometres southwest of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The NEB is a large field, separated in four smaller fields and consists of Al Dhabbiya, Rumaitha, Shanayel and Jumaylah. The development of these fields is done by ADCO, a joint venture between ADNOC, BP, ExxonMobil, Shell, Total and Partex
"Excellent teamwork resulted in a solid client relationship and follow up order for two more skids. This is in line with the strategy of DGI to become a high-end equipment supplier for major projects in the Middle East"
William Toh, Business Development Director DGI Wilmax
